of having two kinds of transactions, viz., Pre-paid and Post-paid. In pre-paid
transaction a smart card is given to the user, which contains balance
information and it can be recharged. Whereas, in post-paid transaction, expense
of cafeteria gets deducted from the salary. This ensures cashless and
coupon-less operations, which improves overall efficiency. Matrix COSEC
Cafeteria Management solution offers post-paid and pre-paid accounts with daily
and monthly maximum usage limits set by an admin.
In both the methods, the amount is debited in the user account without any
monetary transaction. Both pre-paid and post-paid users have an option to check
their account details in real-time using the COSEC Employee Self Service portal
(ESS) portal or COSEC Mobile Application. They can also decide the item they
want to order in advance according to their choice and balance by checking the
menu schedule and menu details, thus saving time of going through list of items
